Dynamic FM Awarded M&E Package for Manchester Airport’s New Executive Lounge
Dynamic FM is proud to have been awarded the mechanical and electrical installation package for the prestigious new Executive Lounge at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2. Working under LPL Construction as Principal Contractor, this high-profile scheme sees us delivering critical building services across one of the airport’s most anticipated new spaces.
Supporting a Premium Passenger Experience
The new lounge, part of Manchester Airport Group’s (MAG) ongoing T2 transformation, will provide an exclusive, high-end experience for passengers — blending local heritage, bespoke interior finishes and world-class hospitality into a space designed for comfort, privacy and relaxation.
Dynamic FM is currently delivering the full M&E scope including:
- High-efficiency heating and cooling systems
- Domestic water services and drainage
- LV distribution, containment and lighting
- Data, access control and fire alarm integration
- BMS coordination for full digital management of building systems
- Power supplies for high-spec bar, kitchen and interactive service areas
This package builds on our growing track record of secure works within live airport environments and continues our strong partnership with LPL Construction and Manchester Airports Group (MAG).
Working in a High-Security Live Terminal
Due to the operational nature of Terminal 2, all works will be delivered within a secure, airside environment. Our directly employed team – all of whom hold blue passes and Home Office clearance – will manage all installations in close coordination with other trades and airport stakeholders, ensuring strict compliance with airport safety and security procedures.
The project is currently in its early stages and will be completed to a tight programme in line with the lounge’s scheduled public launch.
A Seamless Blend of Engineering and Design
The lounge concept has been carefully developed to celebrate Manchester’s unique industrial history and creative culture – from kinetic art sculptures and locally crafted finishes, to advanced digital features like custom flight information displays, lighting personalisation, and interactive food and drink services.
