Dynamic FM Successfully Completes Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Executive Lounge
Dynamic FM is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the mechanical and electrical installation for the new Executive by Escape Lounges at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. Delivered on behalf of LPL Construction, the project forms part of Manchester Airport’s landmark £1.3 billion Terminal 2 transformation programme and has helped create the first Executive-tier lounge within the Escape Lounges portfolio. Developed by CAVU, the hospitality division of Manchester Airports Group (MAG), the flagship facility has been designed to redefine the premium passenger experience.
The completion marks another significant milestone in Dynamic FM’s growing presence at Manchester Airport, reinforcing the company’s reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions within complex, live operational environments.

A Flagship Passenger Facility
Designed to accommodate around 300 guests, the new Executive Lounge provides an elevated airport experience with contemporary interiors, panoramic runway views and an enhanced hospitality offering. As one of the showcase facilities within the redeveloped Terminal 2, the lounge has been created to set a new benchmark for premium passenger comfort and service.
Behind the scenes, Dynamic FM delivered the mechanical and electrical installation that underpins the facility’s performance, ensuring every system was installed, commissioned and tested to the highest standards. From essential building services to the infrastructure supporting the lounge’s premium amenities, the project demanded exceptional attention to detail and close coordination throughout.

Delivering Excellence in a Live Airport Environment
Working within one of the UK’s busiest international airports requires meticulous planning, robust safety procedures and seamless collaboration between all project partners. Dynamic FM’s team of security-cleared, Blue Pass engineers worked closely with LPL Construction and Manchester Airport Group (MAG) to deliver the project safely and efficiently while maintaining the strict operational and security requirements of a live airport environment.
The successful completion of the Executive Lounge builds upon Dynamic FM’s growing portfolio of work across Manchester Airport, following the delivery of several projects throughout Terminal 2, including the UK Border Force Accommodation, Flow Control Room, Touchdown Offices and Newport Health facilities. Together, these projects demonstrate the confidence placed in Dynamic FM to deliver high-quality M&E installations across a diverse range of critical airport environments.

A Team Effort
The successful handover of the Executive Lounge was recognised by LPL Construction’s Senior Project Manager, Shane Gray, who thanked everyone involved for their commitment throughout the project:
“The lounge opened just after 3am this morning. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved for all the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into this project. It is looking fantastic, and everyone should be proud of what has been achieved.”
The message reflects the dedication, professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by everyone involved in bringing this flagship project to completion.

Looking Ahead
The completion of the Executive by Escape Lounges project represents another important achievement for Dynamic FM and further strengthens its long-standing relationship with Manchester Airport and LPL Construction. Contributing to one of the airport’s most prestigious new passenger facilities demonstrates Dynamic FM’s ability to successfully deliver complex M&E projects where quality, reliability and technical excellence are essential.
As Manchester Airport continues its transformation, Dynamic FM looks forward to supporting future developments and continuing to deliver outstanding projects across one of the UK’s most important transport hubs.
