Dynamic Group and Tendra Take to the Water for Barnabus at the Manchester Dragon Boat Race

Representatives from Dynamic Group and Tendra Technical Services took part in the Manchester Dragon Boat Race at Sale Water Park on September 12th, finishing third overall in a nail-biting final and raising vital funds for Manchester homelessness charity Barnabus.

A Day on the Water

Sale Water Park provided the backdrop for a brilliant day of teamwork, friendly rivalry and fundraising. Colleagues from across Dynamic Group and Tendra Technical Services swapped their usual tools and tablets for paddles, taking their seats in the boat to represent both businesses.

Our paddlers gave it everything on the water, and it showed. After a genuinely nail-biting final, our team crossed the line in third place overall, a result we are really proud of. Just as importantly, the bank was lined with colleagues, friends and family cheering us on every stroke of the way.

Why Barnabus?

Barnabus is our group charity partner for 2026, and the Dragon Boat Race was a fantastic opportunity to support the work they do. Barnabus helps people experiencing homelessness across Manchester to move off the streets and into stable homes, changing lives in the communities where many of our colleagues live and work.

Our fundraising for Barnabus is now close to its target. If you would like to help us get over the line, you can donate through our JustGiving page:

Every contribution, large or small, makes a real difference.

Thank You

A huge thank you goes to everyone involved:

• Our paddlers, who gave their all on the water
• Colleagues, friends and family who came down to Sale Water Park to cheer us on
• Everyone who has sponsored, donated or shared our fundraising page

More Than a Race

At Dynamic Group, we believe that being a good business means more than delivering great service for our clients. It means investing in our people, strengthening the bonds between our teams, and giving something back to the communities we work in. Events like the Dragon Boat Race bring all of that together, and we are proud to have taken part alongside our colleagues at Tendra Technical Services.

Thank you to everyone who paddled, sponsored, cheered or shared. It made all the difference.
